ABOUT
Céad Míle Fáilte
A hundred thousand welcomes, at the foot of the Blue Ridge.
OUR sTORY
Our name is Céad Míle Fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes. Fáilte, welcome, for short. That is the heart of this place.
Fáilte Stables sits on nearly 100 acres of pasture and quiet in Front Royal, Virginia, where the land runs up to the foot of the Blue Ridge. The land belongs to a family who have made it available for this work. For years it has been a place people came to ride, and along the way we saw the horses doing something larger than any lesson. They were reaching people, meeting them where words could not. So we turned our work toward that, and toward the people who need it most.

The land and the herd
This land is their home
The setting is part of the work: open field, weather, and the ridge behind it. We have worked with this herd for eight years, and this land is their home. They are calm and peaceful here, settled in a way clients can feel the moment they arrive. They are partners in every session, not props, and they respond to what is real in a person, honestly and without judgment. That response is where change begins.
HOW WE WORK
Grounded, and properly trained
Everything we do is on the ground; there is no riding. Sessions pair a licensed therapist with a certified Equine Specialist, and we are trained in the EAGALA and Natural Lifemanship models, two of the most respected approaches in equine-assisted work. Whether you come for psychotherapy or for time with the herd, you are met the same way: warmly, and as you are.
